Boards & Commissions
Boards, Committees, and Commissions meet bimonthly, monthly, quarterly, or on an as-needed basis, to discuss issues and forward certain items to the Common Council for approval. If you are interested in serving on one of the Boards, Committees or Commissions, please complete a Committee Volunteer Application Form (PDF).
Standing Committees are made up of Aldermen. They include Finance, License, and Regulation Committee, Personnel Committee, Piers, Harbors, and Lakefront Committee, and Public Works Committee. Other Committees are made up of citizens appointed by the Mayor with an alderman serving as a representative.
